Last week, The Joe Burrow Foundation (JBF) visited students at Audubon Charter Baton Rouge and Port Allen Elementary to kick off this year’s Healthy Body, Healthy Mind assemblies. The Healthy Body, Healthy Mind program aims to empower students to make positive choices that support their overall well-being.

“Sleep, exercise, nutrition and mental health shaped Joe’s life as a student and as an athlete, and we love sharing that with kids who are building their own habits right now,” said Robin Burrow. “Watching them get excited about small choices that make a big difference is what makes this event a favorite.”

Robin and Jimmy Burrow, parents of Joe Burrow and leaders of the Foundation, presented the four pillars behind Joe’s healthy lifestyle: sleep, exercise, nutrition and mental health, and shared the impact of each pillar on Joe’s life – both as a young student and professional athlete. They also shared tools on how to put these pillars in action and sent students home with fresh produce and information to share with their families about making healthy decisions.
