The Joe Burrow Foundation Announces Burreaux’s Back-to-School Kickoff in Baton Rouge

• What: Burreaux’s Back-to-School Kickoff will provide essential school supplies and resources to approximately 1,500 students in grades K–12.
• When & Where: Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Elite Training Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
• Community Impact: Students from East Baton Rouge Parish will receive the necessary items to start the school year off right.

The Joe Burrow Foundation is proud to announce the return of Burreaux’s Back-to-School Kickoff, an initiative designed to help local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

Taking place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Elite Training Academy in Baton Rouge, the event will provide essential school supplies to approximately 1,500 students in grades K–12 from some of Baton Rouge’s most underserved communities.

The Foundation will welcome students and families from East Baton Rouge Parish for an evening focused on supporting educational success and demonstrating the power of community collaboration. The event reflects The Joe Burrow Foundation’s ongoing commitment to investing in young people and removing barriers that can impact their ability to thrive in the classroom.

Supporting Students Together

The Joe Burrow Foundation is inviting local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and other partners to join the effort through sponsorship opportunities, community resource tables, and direct donations of needed school-related items.

Items currently being collected include:

• Refillable water bottles
• Hand sanitizer
• Boxes of tissues
• Antibacterial wipes such as Lysol or Clorox wipes
• Ziplock bags (quart and gallon size)
• Liquid hand soap
• Calculators for middle-school and high-school students (approx. 750)
• School uniform items or gift cards for families to purchase uniforms
• Shoes
• Haircuts

By providing these resources, community partners can help ensure students begin the school year with the tools they need both inside and outside the classroom.
