Joe Burrow Foundation Raises $1 Million at LSU’s 2023 Spring Game

NFL Pro Bowler and former LSU National Championship winning QB Joe Burrow hosted the first fundraising event for his Joe Burrow Foundation at LSU’s 2023 Spring game, raising $1 Million to support local nonprofits.

“It was important for me to give back to Baton Rouge and the people in that community that have been so good to me and my family,” Burrow said. “This is just the beginning of our work there and we are excited the kickoff was such a success.”

Joe Burrow won the Heisman Trophy while quarterbacking the LSU Tigers to a national championship in 2019. He was selected first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, where he has earned pro bowl honors and led his team to the Super Bowl (2022).

The Joe Burrow Foundation provides resources and support to the underprivileged and the underserved in Ohio and Louisiana. The Foundation launched in October 2022 to help families who are working to overcome food insecurity and childhood mental health issues.

The Joe Burrow Foundation fundraising event was held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, LA while the Purple and White teams played to a 32-32 tie in the annual battle known as the National L Club Spring Game.
