The Joe Burrow Foundation hosted a heartwarming Thanksgiving event at Winton Hills Academy in Cincinnati, OH, on Thursday, November 20, 2025. From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM 200 Burrow Bags were given to students and their families. Each Burrow Bag was filled with everything needed for a complete Thanksgiving meal.

Volunteers from Lowe’s Home Improvement, Young Professionals from the Urban League of Greater Southwest Ohio, and the Urban League Guild filled Burrow Bags and lined them neatly on tables. The volunteers greeted families entering the school’s gymnasium, managed distribution tables, and carried Burrow Bags to families’ cars, ensuring every guest left with a meal.

Across the gymnasium, the Kroger Health Northbend location administered free flu shots to those interested. Their team added important health and wellness support to the event.

For families wanting to capture cheerful memories of the occasion, a photo area was available.
Robin and Jimmy Burrow, Joe’s parens and leaders of the Joe Burrow Foundation, met families throughout the evening, chatting with students and posing for photographs. The Burrows also personally thanked the volunteers for their contributions.

With the support of the Foundations incredible community partners and the Winton Hills Academy’s dedicated staff, the Thanksgiving celebration was a meaningful success for all who participated. Families left the event with nourishment while all who participated left with warmth and a sense of togetherness.
