LETTER FROM THE BURROW FAMILY

Dear JBF supporters,

We are proud to present our 2025 Annual Report – reflecting the tremendous accomplishments we achieved together this past year. We have been able to provide support in ways we didn’t think possible when we started this Foundation four years ago. This success would not be possible without the support of partners like you.

We have witnessed firsthand how football can bring people and communities together, and we are grateful that Joe’s impact continues to extend beyond the football field through the Foundation. Sports help us appreciate the power of grit, motivation, and discipline, but also reveal how important it is that we have the fuel to be successful. Through our work, we’ve learned that success, whether on the field or in life, requires more than just talent and determination. It requires access to nutritious food and mental health support that allows us to become the best version of ourselves. That’s why our focus areas are food insecurity and mental health: to ensure every child has the resources they need to thrive and change the world.

From mental health programming like Burrow Blueprint to tackling food insecurity head-on with Burrow Bags, we’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of partnership. The relationships we’ve built over the years have allowed us to dive deeper into our mission and identify innovative ways to combat issues in our communities. This year, we provided over 1,000 holiday meals to families in Baton Rouge, southeast Ohio, and greater Cincinnati. We also awarded over $1 million in grants to organizations that are helping us fulfill our mission. We provided back-to-school resources for 6,000 children, launched rescue kitchens in two of our service areas, and came together to celebrate and raise even more money at our inaugural golf events.

We are eager to build on this momentum in 2026 by expanding our reach to additional children and families in our communities of focus. In particular, we are motivated to find new ways to deliver and tackle food insecurity, provide new resources for mental health, and bring back, by popular demand, new Do Good t-shirts!

We hope this report motivates and excites you for a new year of doing good. Thank you for continuing to be a part of our team and allowing us to continue building healthier, stronger communities.

With gratitude,

Joe Burrow, Jimmy Burrow, Robin Burrow

Programs

Do Good Grants

The Joe Burrow Foundation is passionate about supporting local organizations that are providing services that align with our mission. Through our Do Good Grants Program, the Foundation offers grants that fund projects addressing the Foundation’s mission in new and creative ways. In 2025, we were able to support more than 100 organizations.

“Thanks to JBF’s support, BRYC has been able to offer comprehensive postsecondary counseling to 250 East Baton Rouge School System (EBRPSS) seniors not enrolled in our after-school programs, thereby expanding our reach and impact beyond our signature programs. This fall, we also hosted district-wide Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and transfer degree info sessions and launched a bi-weekly advice e-newsletter available to every EBRPSS high school student, parent, and staff. Perhaps most excitingly, we’ve partnered with ObneyAI to develop the ‘BRYC App,’ an all in-one advising tool, student/alumni information system, and centralized hub for BRYC’s day-to-day operations.”

Food Insecurity

100,000 chef-prepared meals served to schools in partnership with La Soupe
1000+ food boxes distributed to families in need
Partnered with Kodiak on donating 50,000 meals and snacks to families facing food insecurity nationwide
Burrow Bags

No family should face the choice between worrying over holiday meals and spending quality time with loved ones. That’s why we launched our Burrow Bags initiative to ensure that families across Ohio and Louisiana can gather around the table without stress and focus on what the holidays are really about. This Thanksgiving alone, we delivered more than 1,000 complete meals to families who needed them most.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind

Inspired by Joe’s healthy lifestyle habits, our Healthy Body, Healthy Mind program educates students on how to live a healthy lifestyle through four key pillars – sleep, exercise, healthy eating, and healthy mind routines.

At the end of each session, students receive fresh produce to take home, encouraging conversations with their family about what they learned.

We officially launched this program in 2025 with events at three elementary schools in southeast Ohio and two in Cincinnati, providing more than 3,000 produce bags to students. We’re excited to launch this event in Baton Rouge in 2026.

Mental Wellness Support

60+ schools granted funding to support World Teen Mental Wellness Day activities
Launched the Burrow Blueprint with 43 total registered users + 285 CMEs awarded
World Teen Mental Wellness Day

Students in grades 7-12 developed and participated in activities commemorating World Teen Mental Wellness Day with the help of the Joe Burrow Foundation. Students were awarded up to $1,000 to plan, create, and lead activities that engaged their fellow students.

Burrow Blueprint

Mental health support does not have to be confined to a doctor’s office. Burrow Blueprint is a program designed to meet students where they’re at by empowering school-based primary care teams to confidently address student mental health needs in their local communities. In partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and other local partners, we officially launched this program in 2025. The program has a current total of 43 registered users and 285 CMEs (continuing medical education).

“I have to say WOW! This was an amazing wealth of knowledge. I was new to school health when I took this job, I was new to treating BH issues, and I did not have a school-based social worker or behavioral health clinician in our clinic. This education was so impactful for me. I feel as though I can now comfortably expand BH into my practice with this knowledge. I love that I can go back and refresh myself with the information whenever I need. I also like the resources tab to access important documents.”
—World Teen Mental Wellness Day Participant
“There’s a real gap in mental health support for kids in school, one we see every day. The Joe Burrow Foundation recognized it too, and together we’re filling it [through the Burrow Blueprint program]. We’ve already awarded 285 continuing medical education credits with a 99% commitment rate from providers to implement the knowledge and skills gained from the modules. That’s validation that we’re meeting a need that’s been going unmet.”
—Mary Kay Irwin, Senior Director, School Health Services at Nationwide Children’s Hospital

Since then, the 740 Rescue Kitchen has provided 23,717 meals to families in need and eliminated 42,943 pounds in food waste.

Burrow Blueprint Launch

In partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health, we launched the Burrow Blueprint: bringing primary care behavioral health education and training resources to providers to help them confidently address student mental health needs. We celebrated together at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital with donors, supporters, and partners.

Baton Rouge Back-to-School Kickoff

In Baton Rouge, we helped local students get ready for the upcoming school year by distributing 2,000 school supply bags filled with essentials from crayons to notebooks and an exclusive JBF backpack. Volunteers from local Baton Rouge schools came to help stuff the bags. Students also got to participate in football drills at Elite Training Academy and meet with local community support agencies from the Baton Rouge area.

Cincinnati Back-to-School Bash

In Cincinnati, we partnered with La Soupe Cincinnati to provide families with fresh soup and bags of nutritious goods to start the year off strong.

Pilot Rescue Kitchen in Baton Rouge

The Joe Burrow Foundation largely supported the launch of a pilot rescue kitchen run by Three O’clock Project in Baton Rouge. With JBF’s early investment and belief in the mission, the kitchen successfully produced 31,776 individual meals in 2025. Each of these meals represent food redirected into nutritious meals for individuals and families in need. This pilot year proved the demand for and the viability of a dedicated Rescue Kitchen model in Baton Rouge, laying the groundwork for long-term, scalable impact.

In 2026, the goal is to double meal production while simultaneously developing a permanent commercial kitchen that will house the 225 Rescue Kitchen located at 1440 Government St., in the heart of Baton Rouge. This facility will allow for increased efficiency, expanded rescue capacity, and sustained community impact for years to come.

Dine for Nine

For the third year, we hosted our annual Dine for Nine event on September 9, partnering with local restaurants in Baton Rouge, Cincinnati, and Athens who committed to 9% of proceeds to go back to the Foundation’s programming. Dine for Nine raised approximately $25,000 with a total of 75 restaurants participating.

Do Good Campaign

Over the holiday season, we launched our Do Good t-shirts in partnership with Cincy Shirts, with proceeds going back to the Foundation’s programming. We are excited to launch more merchandise in 2026. Follow us on social media to be on the lookout for t-shirt drops!

“The Joe Burrow Foundation’s support was the catalyst that turned our rescue kitchen from an idea into a functioning, high-impact operation. Because of this partnership, tens of thousands of meals reached people who needed them most and we are now positioned to scale that impact for the future.”
—Emily Chatelain, Executive Director, Three O’Clock Project
