Joe Burrow Foundation Welcomed in Baton Rouge
Last weekend Jimmy and Robin Burrow visited Baton Rouge along with Joe Burrow Foundation Executive Director, Amy Floyd, for a whirlwind weekend of meetings with their Louisiana-based board of directors and many other supporters and partners.
The three visited the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and Family Service of Baton Rouge to see first hand the important work they are doing.
The Burrows and Amy filled their weekend with visits with Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards and U.S. Representatives Steve Scalise and Brad Wenstrup.
At the LSU game they met LSU Basketball Coach Kim Mulkey and LSU legend and restaurateur Brandon Landry, the founder of Walk-On’s Restaurant and Sports Bistreaux which is a participant in the Foundation’s Dine For 9 campaign.
Over the past year the Joe Burrow Foundation has made investments in a number of charities totaling more than $600,000, including through Do Good Grants. The trio was hosted for site visits by three partners: 3 O’Clock Project, Front Yard Bikes and Mighty Moms.
And LSU won the football game!
A big thank you to all of our Louisiana-based supporters and partners for their hospitality.
