We Awarded $1.3 Million in Grants!
On this Giving Tuesday, the Joe Burrow Foundation is announcing awards that total $1.3 million in grants to 24 organizations in Ohio/Northern Kentucky and Louisiana. This marks the second round of Do Good grant funding from the Foundation this year to organizations working to overcome food insecurity and childhood mental health issues. In September, the Joe Burrow Foundation announced that $594,056 in grants was awarded to 21 organizations with total grants of $1.9 million dollars in Do Good grants this year.
The Joe Burrow Foundation made significant gifts to partners with direct impact to food insecurity concerns that include:
Cincinnati-based La Soupe will be provided with a new van to deliver meals on a weekly basis to Athens (Ohio) Middle School in partnership with Sugar Creek. Over the year-long partnership, 60,000 meals will be delivered in Athens and 60,000 additional meals will be created and delivered in Cincinnati.
Baton Rouge-based Mighty Moms will also be provided a new van to deliver meals to the Livingston Parish.
